The much awaited film ‘David’ by Bejoy Nambiar features two tracks by Remo, the irrepressible folk song from Daman “Maria Pitache”, given a fresh treatment and arrangement, and the beautiful “Lighthouse Symhony”, which Remo composed on his ukulele while shooting the former by a majestic lighthouse on an idyllic beach in Mangalore. Even though ‘David’ the film didn’t do as per expectations, “Maria Pitache” turns into a nation-wide hit.
